Leïla Boutammine Ould Ali

presented by Veolia

Veolia has been present in Africa for more than twenty years to provide sustainable access solutions to water and sanitation, and for the past two years it has been committed to its “Ambitions for Africa” program with the aim of becoming an actor of inclusive African wealth. New pillar of this approach in 2019, the support to contemporary artists from the continent allowed us to discover the Algerian artist Leïla Boutammine Ould Ali whose work illustrates the encounter between a strong cultural heritage – the Fantasia – with a successful photographic art combined with an exciting aesthetic and historical analysis.

Leïla Boutammine Ould Ali was born in December 1976 in Algiers. Visual artist, photographer and author, she lives and works in Algeria.
