Cécile Dufay first created, in the early 2000s, a gallery whose ambition was the discovery of new talents. 120 exhibitions later, she decided in 2009 to support women artists, who are sadly underrepresented not only in institutions, but also in galleries. Today, what fascinates her, and what she wants to share, is the mastery of artists who have reached the mature stage of their art. Whose studios are full. Whose projects are all the more fertile because they are nourished by a whole career. So what better place than the Swiss Village, a 20th century setting for beautiful objects from all eras, to present contemporary works that will also one day become classics?
