Exclusive Launch: A Series of Dessert Plates Featuring the Engaged Artworks of Reggie Khumalo and Leila Rose Fanner in Collaboration with the Limoges Porcelain Manufacturer Haviland for the AKAA Fair, as Part of the “Bon Appétit” Project.
We are thrilled to announce the exclusive launch of a limited-edition series of dessert plates, the result of a unique collaboration between world-renowned African artists Reggie Khumalo and Leila Rose Fanner, and the prestigious Limoges porcelain manufacturer Haviland. This launch will take place during the AKAA (Also Known As Africa) contemporary African art and design fair, which will be held from October 18 to 20, 2024, in Paris, as part of the “Bon Appétit” project.
“Bon Appétit” is an artistic endeavor that aims to bring together the best of Afro arts through the Art of Dining! This project features a curated selection of Afro artists from Africa, the African-American diaspora, and the Caribbean, who will use Limoges porcelain as a canvas, engaging their artworks with this precious and unconventional format. “Bon Appétit” takes on a polymorphic meaning, symbolizing gastronomy, spirituality, and culture.
