Dignity Through Committed Arts
For its first participation at AKAA, F.R.O.M affirms its statement of faith as a global physical and digital platform, but also as a label and cultural movement apolitical, bringing together philanthropists and conscious creatives in a collective centered on humanity and the environment.
The acronym F.R.O.M carries a strong metaphorical charge, expressing cultural and environmental concerns essential to addressing complex issues such as human dignity or the degradation of the planet. This name of a fictitious, federating country refers to MOTHERLAND — which for each person may mean the cradle of humanity, Mother Earth, a nurturing land, or a homeland — and thus embodies the inclusive dimension indispensable to this project. Its ambition: to contribute to all the Sustainable Development Goals through the creation of new cultural values and wealth, within a more virtuous ecosystem, to profoundly transform both the art market and our models of philanthropy.
A foundation dedicated exclusively to committed arts
F.R.O.M is entirely devoted to committed arts, defined across the 5 As: Arts, Craftsmanship, Architecture, Anthropology, and Food.
Providing international visibility to meaningful initiatives, bringing forth new talent, fighting against the precarity of artists, and creating opportunities and solutions that benefit all —through the abundant energy of new spaces and high-impact events — make F.R.O.M a tool, a bridge for cultures and knowledge, past and present.
