Bonne Esperance Gallery is an invitation to discover South Africa’s contemporary creative effervescence. Located in the heart of Paris, the gallery exhibits emerging and established artists at the crossroads of art, craft and design. From Cape Town to Johannesburg, from Durban to Pretoria, Bonne Esperance is a dive into the creative geography of South Africa and neighboring countries, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia. Open to the curious, to amateurs and to collectors, Bonne Espérance gallery is a new voice given to this singular artistic scene in Africa by its authenticity, its crossed influences and its opening on the world. Founded by Scott Billy, an American who lived in Johannesburg for 25 years, and his associate Kari Smith, the gallery offers a regular program of exhibitions of emerging and established artists, designers and craftsmen, all linked by elective affinities, who are representative of the contemporary African art scene.
