Vitshois Mwilambwe Bondo

Vitshois Mwilambwe Bondo lives and works as an artist, curator and cultural worker in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. After studying fine arts in Kinshasa, Strasbourg and Amsterdam, his career is a mixture of curatorial and artistic practices. Since 2011, he is the executive and artistic director of Kin ArtStudio and organizes artists’ exhibitions, master classes, workshops, and residency programs for artists and curators in Central Africa. Besides, he created the first international Biennale of contemporary arts in Kinshasa, the Congo Biennale, in 2019. As an artist, he participated in many leading international group exhibitions and has won multiple awards such as the SCOPE ART FOUNDATION PRICE from New York, USA.
